Unique Festival in its kind in Latin America, the Amazonas Opera Festival is an iniciative of the Amazonas State governement  which happens erery year in April and May. 

Its main goals of the Festival is the popularization of this kind of music gender and works and artists improvement for bigger events. 

Concerts, recitals and Operas have already collected tens of thousands people in 15 years of Festival in the many space like the Amazonas Theatre, Instalação Theatar , Studio 5 Hall and open shows in the amphitheatre of Ponta Negra and Saint Sebastian Square (in front of the Amazonas Theatre).

Great brazilian and international soloists as wll as renowned maestros participated in the events of the festival, highlighting the involvement of the Amazonas Philharmonic Orchestra, the Choir of Amazonas, the Corps de Ballet of Amazonas, the Orchestra Young Amazônica Floresta.
